Substitutions on Dining Plan

Odd because I have heard more than one person talk about using 2 QS credits over the years at the QS locations at their resort, but only at the QS location and of course not delivering it to the room. It might depend on the cast members because some might just allow the 2 QS credits at their discretion, and also frankly the CM's on the phone have been known to be wrong many many many times! I have dealt with that myself before. Who knows! Lol
its probably like the kids quick service most cast members will let kids order of the regular menu with no problem but every once in a while you get the cast member who sticks to the rules and makes them order off the kids menu.

Thats what I was thinking too. We've only done the dining plan once, back in 2009, so it was before all the substitution rules were official. Some quick service locations let us swap our dessert for an extra drink without a problem, other places said no. Some places let you get a box of cereal and a small milk for one snack credit, other places said it would be 2. It seems every now and then you run into a CM who thinks the rules are different from what others think.

Did a quick search, found this sign posted on the Disney Food blog. It's from 2014, but I presume it's still valid:

Thanks Rob! That's what I thought I always heard and read, and thanks for finding the picture of the menu with the info. ;)
