I have no idea why the CM would've had you wait for 20 minutes to get an answer to your question. Very odd.

My wife, son and I have been to BB several times, and we love the family ride. This year, for the first time, we were told we couldn't ride with just the three of us. Didn't like it, but we just joined up with another single or duo without much wait.

At the bottom, we asked the picture guys to take a few of just the three of us and they were happy to do so. This was important to us as we have purchased pictures of the three of us on that ride every year since we first went on it when my son was 2.

I think it would be understandable if the CM had just said, "No for saftey reasons." And followed that up with, "others may have ridden with just 3, but it was against the rules. Sorry." Why make people wait 20 mins. for a supervisor? Why didnt' the supervisor just tell the CM to tell them no instead of making them wait until he could get there?

I'm not saying the CM was wrong to say no, or to even check to see if it was okay, I just think the rest was odd.
I agree with the rest being odd. Though I still don't see how the CM was in the wrong at all.

If anything, the manager should have explained over the phone that there was no need for him/her to come; and that the CM should just apologize and stick to the rules.

If you saw the posting of a minimum of 4, and you had 3, why did you feel the need to complain? Obviously the rules are there for a reason. It amazes me, how people always feel the need to break them, and give people a hard time for doing their jobs in trying to enforce them. It would have been a lot easier to just hop on with 4 or more.

I don't think the OP was complaining, I think they were just simply asking the CM if they could do something they saw other people doing. From what the OP has said, if the CM had just said, "no", it would have been a non event. The complaint comes from the CM and the manager making them feel like criminals while they waited there for 20 minutes, not really knowing what was going on.

I see what you are saying, and perhaps you are right. It just seems like the CM could have said something to them or handled it in a way that would have not made it so they were punished.
