Hi everyone! Im taking my 7 month old to WDW with my dh in August and then again in December. I am looking for a lightweight stroller that completely reclines, has fabric that will breathe, a decent amount of storage size and handles well. Can anyone make any suggestions? I have been looking and looking and just cant decide. I have looked at Combi, Maclaren, and Kolcraft. It does need to be easy to fold and unfold as will we be using the Disney buses. Thanks in advance!!

We're in the same boat. Been looking for a stroller for our trip with our (then) 3-year-old in December. Some other brands we've looked at are Inglesina (Trip), Uppababy (G-Luxe) and Cybex (Onyx).

How tall are you and your DH? I'm 6'2" and on some of the umbrella-type strollers the handles are too low for me to push it comfortably (the Chicco ones, for example).

Maclaren seems to be the going-brand, and they *are* nice, but many of the other brands have models that offer similar (or better) features at a lower price.

Is your db 7 mos now or in Aug? It seems like you want a fully reclining stroller so you can maximize park time and allow the db a little sleep time. If that is true, you may want to reconsider your plan of attack. I learned the hard way, that you have to Disney with little ones on their pace. The best plan that I've used is to go to a park and do 3-5 child friendly attractions then head back for rest and relaxation. Let the db keep their normal schedule i.e., nap, feedings, etc.

But as far as your question, I would trim back the parameters to just reclining to the specs you need at the minimum for proper head/neck support and very easy folding for transport purposes. Your best bet at this point is to just take your every day stroller and deal with the possible backlash on the buses. I know that sounds horrible, but it is what it is and everyone will ultimately find a reason to be frustrated about something no matter what.

A strong suggestion I would make at the minimum is that you take advantage of the Baby Centers all over the parks. Get an idea of where they are BEFORE you need them. They are quiet and have A/C. Good for changing, napping, and feeding.

My family just traveled to WWD in October with our 1 year old, we used the Chicco Lightway. It fully reclines for naps, and folds up completely like an umbrella stroller. We had no trouble using the disney busses with this stroller. The only thing is the storage space is small, but we carried a backpack as a diaper bag and just hung it on the back of the stroller, that way we could take it off and carry the backpack with us on to rides or in to shows.

It is so hard to find the right umbrella stroller that meets all of your needs. We have a Jeep Jogger that is smaller and pretty easy to fold quick and has great storage underneath. So great for steering around the parks too! Reclines, has a nice hood and is super cozy too. It was definitely under 150 but it's been so long since we bought it, hard to remember.
