stroller or no stroller?

I may be an oddity here, but we took our then 3 yr old (almost 4) and 5 yr old to the park years back and didn't bring a stroller. We actually spent time in the months leading up to the vacation getting our 3 yr old son used to not being in a stroller. We are a very outdoorsy family, so our weekend hikes helped a lot. In fact, our kids were even more motivated to hike when they knew they were getting ready for a trip to Walt Disney World ;)

In the end, we rented a stroller our first day in the parks simply because our travel day the day prior had been so exhausting. After that both kids were great for the remaining 5 days. Breaks definitely helped- when you figure in time on rides and at meals etc, it really does cut down on the walking all day.

If you think your child will not be able to walk that much, I would definitely bring a stroller from home though. The prices to rent strollers are quite steep in the parks.
