Has anyone else watched the Netflix series Stranger Things? I just finished it and really liked it. I could definitely see the influence of a lot of other TV and movies that I liked.

I loved it. Stranger Things was truly a tribute to the 80's and Stephen King (who by the way praised the series on Twitter). Speaking of Stephen King, the young boy who played the role of Mike Wheeler on Stranger Things will also appear in the new IT adaptation.

It's like all the cool stuff from the '80s thrown in a blender. It, Stand By Me, E.T., The Goonies, Tangerine Dream, Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks, a touch of Aliens and Winona Ryder too boot.
