The concern is about the impact of this specific storm, not delays and cancelations in general. A bit more rain in Orlando isn’t the sort of thing that’s going to cause days of delays and cancellations along with hotels being overbooked.

I hate to say it but they extended the tornado WATCH until 6 am. The heaviest bands are going on shore tonight in Orlando, they arent out of the way yet

If flights are delayed/ cancelled we've learned guests tend to keep their rental cars longer and extend their stay in hotels making it a nightmare for some trying to check in when the guests supposed to check out will not.

You cannot just stay in a room after your reservation otherwise i would never leave lol

I’ve worked front desk at hotels back in the day. Yes they can per management call if situations arise.
