I've read a thread somewhere that a waterrafting ride @ universal has a storage compartment in the middle of your raft to put your cameras, radios, etc... to protect them from water damage. i also heard that the spidey ride has a large compartment under your seat to put your cameras & other necessities.... Good idea to the designer that did that!!!!

I thought this was so cool..... I would hate to keep going back & forth to a locker... what a waste of precious time....

Does wdd have any rides like that! What do people do to prevent there cameras from getting soaked????? or from getting violently bumped around on the coasters....

comments????

suggestions???

:hammer:  :veryconfu

Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom also has a storage compartment at the center of the raft...
Also Dinosaur has a little bag in the fron seats to put your stuff there (I'm not sure about Test Track).

What I like of Islands of Adventure is that in some of their rides (Incredible Hulk Coaster and Duelling Dragons Coasters) have lockers just at the exit of the ride... and you can leave your stuff there for an hour without paying anything...

I've been on both Kali River Rapids and Bluto's Bilge Rats and would NOT put my camera, etc in the storage compartment unless it was already in a watertight container! I always bring a waterproof tote/backpack if I plan on going on any "wet"rides. If the compartment is not completely sealed (it has velcro closures)by previous riders, water can pool inside. I ALWAYS bring both a large and small zip loc bag to the parks....to use as waterproof bags, and also to collect leftovers from my son's meals.

I wholeheartedly agree, I put my camera in there last year and the case came out soaked on Kali! Luckily it is a semi waterproof case and I was able to get me camera out before the water soaked right through.

Also be wary of items in bumbags/fannypacks. My pack got wet also and my 3 day ticket got mashed.
