Storage - Any Ideas?

Hi All

I will be visiting the world in November with my parents who will have car.

Then in December me and DH are returning for xmas but using ME and no car.

What I wanted to do was get some supplies (just a crate of water and some snacks etc) when I am there in November and have use of the car to get to supermarket then try to leave them there so me and DH can pick them up when we return in December.

Is there anywhere on site you can store things, maybe lockers somewhere that wont be emptied every night?

I am sure I heard of something like this before, may have been for DVC members but may just be me dreaming (or wishing)!

Altenatively I know some of you over that side of the pond actually post supplies down to Disney before you are going to arrive. How long do you think they would hold this for before you arrive.

My parents will be leaving on 11/21 and I will be arriving on 12/14 its only 3 weeks but is that too long to expect them to keep?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

I would be very careful about storing snacks for weeks. You could ruin your trip by getting sick.
Obviously you won't be storing bangers and mash - probably canned and bagged items - but even then you might be better off just living off the land when you come back.

Good luck

It would probably be cheaper to hire a taxi to run to the store and pick up what you need than to store it for 3 weeks. This way you could get some fresh items that wouldn't make it thru storage.

The lockers look like great idea but as I only want to leave things there for a couple of weeks and wont be leaving much it doesn't really make sense to spend $100.

Was hoping I could get my parents to leave a box addressed to me for when I arrive, its only the same as you guys in the US sending stuff down and it arriving a week early (but obviously it will be 3 weeks)! :animwink:

I will just have to either take a cab to supermarket or pay on site prices or just starve!!!!

Or you could just simply order groceries to be delivered to your room for your December trip. The charge for that would be nothing compared to the storage charge.
