Stitch's Great Escape Question

I am going to Walt Disney World on September 29, 2004 to October 9, 2004. Is there any chance that Stitch's Great Escape will be open by then? (Sorry if this was already asked.)

there is a chance, but don't plan anything around it. I was thinking more of late october, but you never know. Don't get your hopes up, but there is a chance.

I heard that it opens somewhere between or on Oct 1 to Oct 3 so if this is true you will be there on the Grand Opening. If you are, TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES!!! That would be soo cool to be able to tell peole that you were there the day that attraction opened. I know I'll be telling my kids/grand kids that I was there on Philharmagic's Grand opening when I go to MK with them!

I asked the same question and was told the Grand Opening would be October 1st.

We are going Oct 2nd - Oct 9th so I hope that holds true

I'll probably schedule an extra-special trip to Stitch's Great Escape just to see this thing. But I have a big hunch it will be open during your visit, Lenny.

I know last year when I was down at WDW before the official opening of M:S, the CMs were like...'well, it's not open yet...but they do open it for previews. Come back around 1pm'. So you never know! Maybe you'll get lucky and get to go on it!

Its not really a question of if it will be done for previews...its more like will it be done at all by Oct.

The Opening is tenativly Scheduled for 10/3, or the press event is anyways, so i'd say Yes.

Yeah, I asked a CM, he says they were shooting for 10/2

We will be there Sept. 28 - Oct. 5. I hope we get to experience it... we won't be back for a while!!!

I talked to an imagineer at the cp party they thru us @ mk. I asked him when SGE would open and he said early November and that was before this hurricane. So don't get ur hopes up yet. Beacuse the biggest issue is NOBODY is even trained to operate it yet and its not quite finished.

Mid November is now correct. Thats when the press event is scheduled for. Things got pushed back, exactly why I wont say.
