Preventing younger children from experiencing the ride and getting scared silly. . ..

No it's just protecting younger children from experiencing the ride that will make them feel depressed

So I'm all for it!

Seriously though, I guess that's a good idea to last until the rehab happens.

I think they should just post warning signs every 5 feet that say guests will experience intense g-forces and spinning during Stitch's Great Escape to keep the kiddies away...and if people ask questions, they were spinning when the lights went out.

Yeah that seems to be the only way people will listen

They'll also have a height maximum to lead away guests looking for an intricate, well-developed storyline. . . :lookaroun

(I'm really sorry. )

I think a height range of 38" to 40" would be apropos for this attraction...I think that would allow 3 and 4 year olds, about the only group mature enough to handle the darkness but innocent enough to think it's a good show. Personally, I think they could have saved a lot of money by just having one of those "little kid water parks" in the middle of Tomorrowland with Stitch spitting on the 5 year olds...and it would have generated a lot of laughs from the adults while allowing a real attraction to be built in Stitch's current home...

The new Height IS the new Storyline!!!

You see, Stitch is a short guy and has a "Midget" complex. Stitch feels that anyone shorter than him is bad and should be looked down on. Hence, when Stitch escapes anyone under the min height is at great risk, as Stitch will attack him or her.

Effective Immeditly, SGE has raised its requirement from 35'' to 38''.

FYI, AE was 44''

Thats just sad!!! The whole reason they redid this attraction was to make it accessible for younger children, and now they turn around and shut out their target audience. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

Can you say "History always repeats itself"? I'm seeing another JIYI incident forming here. You start out with a great, unique attraction. WDW decides to gut it for a "New and improved" version, which sucks. Then they replace that version with a 3rd incarnation that the public decides to deem "semi-acceptable".

I think we are well on a way to something worse than the JII/JIYI rehab fisco.

Holy crap don't say that! Surely it won't get THAT bad.

I do know a way that would solve the problem though :drevil:

I see a long trend emerging here...
Many rides have gone in for a makeover and come out with the hairdo from hell! It's a shame things can't be left as they are...
I understand that things must be rehabbed, obviously, but in such a life-altering way (for the ride, I mean:lookaroun)?

One good thing to come out of this though, is ToT!

Anyways, On these boards there have been several alternative suggestions made for SGE, all of which are better. But, d'oh well...

The fight for a magical tomorrow continues...

"Hey you took my cellphone" (how about everyone here yell... but it is your mother in-law.. as a tribute to AE...)

I think this might be a good idea..... it might help lower wait times... and once they fix the attraction be worth it??

They can change the height requirement to anything they want...it still won't quench the s__________g sound you hear as you walk past SGE until they rip the thing apart and try again.

I hope they dont end up spending as much money repairing SGE as they would tearing it out and making a new attraction.:dazzle:
