How scary is Stitch's Great Escape for an older three year old? My daughter loves Lilo and Stitch, so I imagine she'll want to go on this one. I went on it when it was Alien Encounter which would have been too intense for her - how much have they toned it down for kids?
Thanks!

Yes, I believe that it has been toned down a lot! The only problem is that the whole entire building reaks of chili dogs.:hurl:
But to answer your question, I think that your daughter will be fine. They basically took out the scary elements and added in some funny moments.

I think it ultimately depends on the maturity of your daughter. Perhaps watch the attraction on youtube with her before you leave home a few times to begin to show her what to expect?

Is your child afraid of....

-Harnesses
-Loud noises
-The Dark
-Bad Smells

Then run, not walk, away from this attraction. It's rumored that this ride actually gets more complaints from Disney than Alien Encounter due to drawing the kids in through Stitch! It's the same building and interior, just a different "alien" and visuals on the screen.

Your kid will be terrified of Stitch from now on if you bring her to Stitch's Great Escape. It's not even very entertaining - no redeeming qualities to balance any of the negatives.

It is definitely not as scary as AE, but it does have a little scare factor to it. My 5 year son was a little nervous the first time he went on the ride. I just held his hand and he was fine.
