.... I'm pretty sure that the scent is just "chili" and hot air. I don't think it would seem gross if it wasn't accompanied by a burp sound.

As a grown up that has experienced many different things in life I am baffled as to how it could bother anyone. It's a funny prop in a theme park attraction. It isn't real!

So the scent is not really a scent, people are imagining it and the creators lied about it? Idk how someone could be so hung up on other people's opinions/experience on/with something.

I know I'm old and everything, but honestly I have no idea what the hell you are talking about. The first sentence sounds like you are asking me if the scent is imagined. The scent is made up of an artificially manufactured odor. It is not an actual expelling of a living creatures breath, it is made to make you think you are smelling something, so I guess that would be imagining wouldn't it? As for the second sentence... isn't that what you are doing?

I remember the burp and chili smell. It always made me queasy for some reason. The mind can take anything, even a chili smell and bring up something that affects you in the wrong way.
Disney over the years has been very creative at manufacturing an entire catalogue of smells. The skunk scent at Figment was highly accurate. Pew.

Then I'm sure "burnt coffee " wasn't a big seller.
Back in the day when we used to grind our coffee beans and use the old percolators over the campfire, occasionally it would get "burnt" but I can't remember it ever smelling like skunk.
