Stitch's Alien Alphabet

Hi, everyone. I'm a new member, but an old and fervent Disney fan. My DH wants to know if anyone has decoded the alphabet in Stitch's Great Escape. According to Allearsnet it can be translated to English. We've tried Google to look for it without success. We're going to the World Saturday for a week, and would like to have fun with trying to read the signs in that attraction. It's NOT one of my favorites, but this might be interesting. Thanks!

It's really not that hard if you look closley at the letters. Most are just stylized letters rotated. I have a key around here somewhere. I'm sure by the time I find it, another member will have it up.

I had a bunch of the decoders...forgot where they are though. They were Scratch'N'Sniff...maybe I should start smelling around...

If I ever find one, I'll PM a picture of it to you!

I used to work at Stitch's Great Escape and a cast member friend and I worked on decoding the alphabet during one of our shifts. I totally forget what the signs mean except everything usually says Galatic Federation something. If you really want to decode it you can go on Stitch several times and figure out the alphabet in the scene with Skippy and Sargent 90210. There's a dedication sign in the alien language on one side of the room and an identical sign in english on the other side. That's how we figured it out in between guests coming in.

a while ago there was a game with stitch. I think i found it online somehow... anyway the reward for winning the game was the decoder for the alphabet. It also came with a certificate you could print out and take to Guest Services and get a special prize... probably just a sticker... i wish i never deleted the game

I used to try and do this sometimes too. Never got very far and it has been like 2 years already from when I worked there, so I totally forgot it all.

I took a photo of the SGE dedication plaque out front (just to the right of the silver doors in the outside "holding pen," before you get to the 1st preshow video room). Then I took it home, printed it, and ciphered it out on the assumption that the top word was "Dedication"

It was. :D A full dedication plaque that basically read "this intergalactic prisoner transport center is dedicated to keeping peace throughout the universe by seperating the nice from the naughty." Again, not an exact quote, but that's just based on memory -- I don't have the printout in front of me.

Thanks, everyone!

I really appreciate all your replies. These were great ideas. If anyone comes across the decoder sheet, it would save us from having to go through the attraction more than once or twice. My tolerance level for Stitch is pretty low, and I hate chilidogs!

If you look at it good while you are waiting to enter, there is enough there that you can figure it out pretty easily. Sorry I can't help with a decoder.

Here's how to get a decoder:

1. Go to http://www.stitchescape.com
2. Download "Stitch's Escape Game"
3. Play game. It just takes a few short minutes.
4. When you're done, you'll receive a message saying "Click 'PRINT' for a special reward from your friend Stitch."
5. Click the PRINT button. A sheet will print containing the official "Federation Language Decoder"

The decoder goes directly to the printer and doesn't display on the screen, so there's no way to get a screen print. Plus it says you can take the sheet to City Hall at MK and get a Stitch sticker. I don't know if that offer is still valid.

Thanks!

Thanks so much, Brian. We'll try that, and then see if we can get the Stitch sticker at the MK. Even though DH and I aren't real Stitch fans, the GF of our DS #1 is a dedicated admirer and collector of all things Stitch.
