Stinky E-Ride Nights??

I have seen some reports -- unusually consistent among themselves -- that the March 11 e-ride night was very disappointing.

Apparently, several rides either had problems and/or were understaffed, resulting in long (20-30 minute) waits!!

Can anyone confirm or deny these reports?

Does anyone have any sense of whether such problems will continue?

I'm going to be there for the 3/25 and 3/28 e-ride nights, and I don't look forward to spending (more) money for long waits, especially when I'm paying to have virtually no wait.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the March 11 experience was a fluke!

Thanks for any info anyone has!

I went to that e-ride night and I did find it quite busy. I wasn't expecting it to be dead, but a lot more people than I was expecting. We did every ride at least once and i didn't find any lines longer than 8-10 minutes. I was just surpised by the number of people that were actually there. I'm not sure about the break down of rides though.. i didn't see any or experience any of the problems that you are talking about. I think that I would recommend still going on the 25/28th though. Even if they do sell all 5,000 tickets that will be a lot less people than will be there during the day since it is spring break time. Hope I help a little!!! :D

Hi John,

I was there on the 11th also, and I did have one experience of waiting. We had gotten into Alien Encounter right away and when the pre-show ended, a CM came out and told us it would be at least a five minute wait. We stayed anyways, and after about five minutes got into the main ride. Then we waited at least ten minutes in there... so that was kinda aggravating, wathching the clock tick away on your e-ride night. After that, it was wonderful!! We went on Space Mountain 3x, Big Thunder RR 2x, Splash Mountain 1x, Haunted Mansion 1x, Alien 1x, Buzz 2x. So I'd say it was well worth the money. And it was neat walking around with virtually nobody else on the streets! We loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat!!

all march erides nights have sold way less then the total amont of tics that could be sold. if fact some erides have had less then 1500 tics sold. Divide that by 9 rides. Plus all the guests that would be inbetween rides and in gift shops and resturants. Summer Erides are much more crowded then these have been.

I'm going in May and they didn't have any E Ride nights last May.
I'm hoping they have them but from what I'm reading here, I doubt it.:(

I was at an E-ride night last year during spring Break. I went on Thunder Mntn. 6x, Splash Mntn. 2x, Haunted Mansion 2x, Buzz Lightyear 3x, and Space Mountain 3x. Even with the large spring Break crowd, the e-ride night had a great crowd size. We had a really good time.

we had an excellent experience with e-ride. my only complaint is since all major rides are spaced apart, there is a lot of major walking from attraction to attraction.
