Steam Roller Removed For Good

The big steam roller from Roger Rabbit at MGM has been moved to the backlot tour... I do not have a picture but I do recall last seeing it on Jan 2nd at MGM in its original location, but I guess it will be gone now. What are they doing in that area where the steam roller/goosebumps/roger rabbit stuff used to be?

I guess that means no more pictures with the steam roller?!?!

They are adding more walkway room to accomodate the foot traffic to and from the new Stunt Show stadium. This is also why the Studio Catering Co. got an upgrade. Maybe the steam roller will go on the tram tour.

Im sorry, but Ive been wanting to know this for awhile now. Kinda of topic, but does anybody know if the umbrella thing is still there, I never got to see it and if it is still there in the stunt show/ new york street area, where exactly is it.

I saw it during the Backlot Tour just last week, so it is there. I should of taken a picture.

All I saw was the mermaid fountain, which was blocked off in january and now can be seen. The same thing they did with Disney's statue at MK. They had a giant wall around it.. and then moved the wall in after doing some work. Also the shortcut from BT to HISTKMS is blocked off. Was apain to walk around... lol

Well... I like that idea, but look how much that area has been changed... Really...

well, im glad i got a photo of being run over while it was there. i can at least show the kids one day that (future)dad got run over by the steam roller in the stunt show......... AND SURVIVED!!!!!

I knew the dip-mobile was there for a while... It also was in the area where the steamroller used to be. But I think the steamroller was there even after october to january... I am 100% sure about that because I know my brother went up on it and looked out, I even begged him to take apicture under the wheel, but he refused lol.

It was there a couple weeks ago, i'm not sure if it is still working though. It behind san fran street, which used to be chinatown ny.

I think eberybody must have a pic under the steamroller, and probably one hugging that Jessica cut-out. I LOVED playing with those sound effect boxes on Roger's little shop.
