Overall , Jiko, Flying Fish, and California Grill are easily superior to Yachtsman. Our dinner at FF in May was nothing short of spectacular. That said, I had surf and turf, and the beef wasn't quite to the level of YS, IMO. Problem I have with YS is that aside from the beef itself, the ambiance and other offerings are pedestrian. The beef at CG and Jiko are at least as good as YS, but everything else is better. Haven't been to Le Cellier in decades tbh, so I couldn't really say.

Yeah, I checked out that Jiko menu and I definitely think it's too adventurous for 3 out of 4 of us! Hopefully I'll get the Yachtsman ADR.

Jiko or Yachtsman for my vote. Although since we are not on the DDP we are going to make a return try to LeCellier this fall. We haven't been back in several years after a pretty steady visit each trip. We're always up for giving another chance sometimes with restaurants.
