Steak VS Ribs!!

So, I'm looking (salivating) over the menu for Sci-Fi for our upcoming September trip. I can't decide between the St Louis ribs and the NY strip steak. What are your thoughts?

Now thats a great dilemma to have- Steak or Ribs at Disney? Thats like saying, do I want my Lotto winnings in 10s or 20s! Its a Win Win

I forgot to add that I will be getting the steak at Be Our Guest and at San Angel Inn. I'm not a huge rib guy but I like them every now and then.

I ate there recently, and I was too scared to experiment with a steak or ribs (not that I would dare to question the quality of food at a Disney restaurant :jawdrop:)
Given the choice, I would view a steak as a safer alternative to the ribs. It's harder to make a steak taste vile.

I never had Sci-Fi's Steak or Ribs generally just sandwiches when I have been there.
I would probably go for the Ribs because of personal preference over steak every time.

This thread is another example why I love following this site. The knowledge on the food at WDW that members continue to show is unbelievable! I clearly have to try more places

I've had neither, there, so I'm shooting from the hip. It's easier to cook a good steak than a good rack of ribs. As a hobby I cook competition BBQ and have had some success. Tastes vary so widely for steak and ribs. If you like fall off the bone tenderness, I suspect you'd like the ribs. It's the norm for places that have to put out large quantities, and don't specialize in BBQ. If you like a rib that requires a slight tug to get the meat off the bone, odds are against you.

I've only ever had a burger at Sci-Fi (not bad by the way), but between the two I would personally go with ribs. I like my steak medium and I find that they usually come back well-done from restaraunts that dont specialize in steak. That being said, I am also a big fan of ribs.
