Anyone else out there who think, like me and my DBFF LisaLynn, that if you stay on property you should be able to make your ADR's even one day ahead of people staying off property?
In a way you already can. With a Disney resort reservation you can make up to 10 days worth of reservations from your arrival date. Someone off property would have to call back at 180 days from day 2, 180 days from day 3 and so on.Anyone else out there who think, like me and my DBFF LisaLynn, that if you stay on property you should be able to make your ADR's even one day ahead of people staying off property?
So make it on the second day and you are a day ahead. Make it for day 5 and you are 4 days ahead.Yeah, but if you're trying to make a hard to get ADR (like CRT) you're competing with all on day 180. I think if you choose to stay on WDW grounds that would be a great perk for the extra money you're spending.
How so?IMO- the way they do ADRs right now is kinda unfair.![]()
I dunno. I'm just in a mood.How so?
The trick it to schedule the more popular dining toward the end of a trip. The $10 deposit did a pretty good job of curbing hoarding. BOG will calm down a little once the shine wears off. Even though most of us have been back multiple times since it opened, many people are just seeing the new FL for the first time. I think it will always be akin to Ohana or CM, but it should get a little better come 2014-2015.I dunno. I'm just in a mood.I guess I'm just referring to BOG. But, people who stay on property should have 1st dibs to the "good" restaurants/the most popular ones. I know that's not fair to those off property, but I wish there was a way to stop the "hoarding" of those ADRs!

We were pretty shocked on our April 15-24 trip .... high park levels, but the hotels were virtual GHOST TOWNS (except for the cheapies). Disney has to launch a full scale WAR to get these populated.... it's pretty obvious that a whole bunch MORE folks are staying off site.
There are tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands MORE hotel rooms offsite than onsite. The key statistic is the occupancy level.it's pretty obvious that a whole bunch MORE folks are staying off site.
