Hey everyone, I am planning on doing a PI in the fall of 2007 after I graduate with my bachelors. I am hoping that I can stay on as full-time salaried when the internship is over. Has anyone either done this or know if this does happen and is possible. I really want to have a career working for Disney World and I felt this would be the best way to get my foot in the door. Thanks to everyone in advance for any and all information.

Good move by doing the PI.Disney does take that into account when hiring salaried roles in Mgt. If you look at alot of the people that are in salaried roles at Disney especially in Casting,Training, College Relations have had exposure as interns or CP CMS.
Best advice is to NETWORK as much as possible.Meet as many people in power as you can. Also hopefully you got your BA in an area that Disney can use.
Anyway you have made a great choice and even better start towards your career with Disney.

Thanks Wedway. My BA is in Accounting with a minor in Business Administration so I think they can always use people with degrees in business related fields.

Disney is very good and highly known to promote from within. Most large corporations, especially Disney, do that because you already know all of the heritage, how things work, etc. You are in the door, so I can see you having a much better chance getting into a fulltime position than someone coming in off the street.

Smart move doing the PI. Good luck! :)
