staying in disney for 1 night

i am going to stay at AKL in july for 1 night i have booked a savannah view room, but now i have read mixed reviews. have i made the wrong choice of hotel? i used to stay in the poly with my parents when i was little, but the hotel was looking tired then and that has to be at least 10 years ago.
so i thought i would pick a newer hotel. PLEASE HELP
also i need to buy 3 day park hopper tickets and becuse i am in england it is very hard to do this as disney have stopped offerering these tickets to international guests.

AKL is a superb choice of hotel - full of atmosphere and the Savanna rooms are brilliant. OK so its a little bit out of the way for visiting 3 of the 4 parks, but bus transportation is very good (we only had one wait of over 10 minutes for a bus during our recent Christmas visit).

You'll be able to buy the 3 Day MYW ticket at any of the Park ticket booths and add on the Hopper Facility - no problem at all

You have made a great choice! AKL is an amazing resort with theming second to none. Plus, being able to walk out on your balcony and overlook the savanna is very relaxing. I don't think you will be disappointed.

where are these bad reviews of AKL? I have heard nothing but the best--it is my favorite resort at WDW.

I haven't stayed there myself, but I don't think you will be disappointed. The place is absolutely beautiful and is completely unique.

Really. AKL is a wonderful resort and I have nothing bad to say about it. The Savannah view rooms are absolutely incredible. You have made a great choice! Its worth the bit longer bus rides
