Stawberry Soup?

Hi there. We ate dinner at 1900 Park Fare on our last trip and I really loved the strawberry soup. I would like some on our next trip (being 8 weeks pregnant and having cravings.) However I don't think my whole group is going to go for another Cinderella dinner (we are going with a friend who has a son.) Does anyone know if any other place also serves that? I looked on the on line menus, but no such luck so far.

Looks like its the only place serving it....how about making some at home?

Cold Strawberry Soup

2lb. 8oz. strawberries(frozen variety,thaw with juice)
16 oz Heavy Cream
2 oz. Sour Cream
3 oz. Yogurt
1/2 lb. Fresh Stawberries
Mix thawed strawberries, heavy cream, sour cream and yogurt. Beat slowly until well mixed and a smooth consistency. Chill, shake well before serving. Add fresh strawberries halves as garnish.

Hi tiggsmom, thanks for the advice. I guess I could make it myself, my problem being lately I haven't been feeling too good (Morning sickness that stricks at night) and my hubby has been doing everything around here. He is very good at it and a God sent blessing (after all he got me in this condistion, enough said.)

My Doc took pitty on me and gave me this new medication that he says is safe to take when pregnant. I took it the other day and it was wonderful. I felt so great, no sickness at all. However it is extremly expensive (30$ a pill) and he gave me 10 free samples. I am saving the rest for the trip so I know I will feel good while at WDW. It was funny actually, he didn't offer it to me until I voiced my concern about feeling like crap at WDW, then he took pitty on me. (I was ill most of pregnancy with little PhD)

yum strawberry soup. I think I might run to the grocey store sometime soon, the recipe doesn't sound too hard.

God bless those little pills...I know a few people who have taken them & they work wonderfully. There wasn't anything like that when I was expecting ( princesses are now 15 & 9. ) & I was sick from the moment I woke up till I fell asleep again. :hurl:

I too have a husband who is handy at helping (and does so without being asked). Save those little pills & have a great trip.

Oh good, I was getting alittle worried, feeling guilty that the kids would end up with no arms or something like that. ( I know they stopped of those drugs in the 70's, but still I worry.) Yes, I suffered through it all with my 1st pregnancy, but if these help this much I might not only have 2 kids (who am I kidding? It is just nice to stop because that is all the kids you want, not because you can't bear the idea of being pregnant again.)

I am really looking forward to this trip. It will be good to do some fun stuff and not focus on how bad I feel.
