I'd easily take a Hollywoodland Rock 'n' Roller Coaster with the Doors
Are you saying you don’t like that there is live entertainment in the parks? Or it’s just something you don’t particularly enjoy.I just wish Disney could bring in something or better yet tear it down for a dark ride.
I’m not really big on live entertainment at the parks.
I was under the impression that DLR seemed at one point to be moving away from theater shows long term because they get stale with the APs coupled with recent union disputes.I just wish Disney could bring in something or better yet tear it down for a dark ride.

Hyperion Shows have always played to capacity crowds when I’ve been there. I don’t think popularity is the problem.I was under the impression that DLR seemed at one point to be moving away from theater shows long term because they get stale with the APs coupled with recent union disputes.
I’m just saying theater shows hasn’t been intresting. Especially around the resort. I watched Aladdin years back. I did once or twice and never looked back. Maybe it just a small theatre that lacks depth. I rather watch Fantastic. Are you saying you don’t like that there is live entertainment in the parks? They are building 4 new rides at DCA aren’t they?
It was more with the union disputes.Hyperion Shows have always played to capacity crowds when I’ve been there. I don’t think popularity is the problem.
I have a big impression Disney doesn’t want to pay $$$$$ for the hourly wages for live entertainers. It was more with the union disputes.
I thought Hyperion shows were always equity? Certainly seemed equity quality but I’m not as familiar with the California parks. It was more with the union disputes.
That’s an opinion though - I loved all the Hyperion shows and also really enjoyed tales of the lion king.I’m just saying theater shows hasn’t been intresting. Especially around the resort.
Hyperion used AGVA performers, which hasn’t involved any recent disputes. It was more with the union disputes.
Even if you don't personally watch live entertainment, you should want it to be around.
Why? It'll spread people out and give them more options. Once live entertainment has been established, it draws people away from attractions and keeps lines shorter. It allows people to do things without waiting in line. It allows them in many cases to sit down and get out of the sun for a bit. Smaller atmospheric groups can do a lot to transform the areas they're in and give them a real, authentic sense of life.
All of which are a win for the parks and the park experience whether you are personally consuming the entertainment or not.
Was out everyday on my visit. Michael was there most days but managed to catch Noel on Saturday. Both are great!the pianist at Coke Corner who hasn't been out there in a while

Haha! Understood. To be fair, Michael doesn’t really play ragtime. So if you’re a purist you will be disappointed. One of the reasons I was excited to see Noel before I left was to hear some legit ragtime!Good to hear! Noel is great!
EDIT: Didn't mean to imply Michael is not great. I just had a fun time watching Noel once and not sure I've ever actually sat there when Michael is playing
