Starting to think about packing....November 9-15

I am so looking forward to our trip to Disneyworld next week with our 20 month old granddaughter. What can I expect for weather? We will be there from the 9th-15th. So far it looks like 70's and 80's with that daily possibility of a shower. Any help from those who have been there at this time or from those who will be there at the same time would be appreciated. Thanks......

The weather will be perfect during the day, but it starts to get a little chilly after the sun goes down. Be sure to pack sweatshirts and jeans for the evenings. (We're from Michigan, so that's all we needed at night.)

We've gone during this time of year in 2012 and 2013 and absolutely loved it! Low crowds, and great weather! Have a magical vacation!

We will be there the same time :) As others said, pack for colder nights - a light sweater is good. I also picked up some gloves from the dollar store in the color red :)

I'm such a Disney freak I would be packed and have the bags at the door by now, but I digress. For this time of year I usually bring shorts for the days and dockers for night. Each of us has a light weight fleece for evenings as well. I also have some "zip-off" pants where you can remove the lower pants legs and turn pants into shorts or the other way in a minute.

When it comes to weather in Florida, forecasts more than about 48 in advance border on worthless especially this time of year. Check the extended forecast on the 7th or 8th and pack according to it.

We'll be there from the 8-16 and are also looking forward to the milder weather and hopefully lower crowds. Up here in New Hampshire the temp was 34 so anything over 60 will be great.

As others said, shorts for during the day and sweatshirts/jeans for the cooler evenings would be appropriate. Since you won't be wearing them for long each day, you can easily get away with a single hoodie sweatshirt (or fleece jacket) and a single pair of pants for each person -- we always wear ours on the plane (since we're typically flying in from New York state during colder months anyway), so we don't have to pack those bulky items in our carryon luggage.

Layers will be your friend. Most days will probably be gorgeous in the 70s. You will need a jacket in the morning and after dark. Also be prepared for weather extremes. One year, we were wearing shorts at the beginning of the week and jeans and sweatshirts at the end of it. Another year, we didn't have enough warm clothes and another time we didn't even use them. It really is a great time to be there though because you don't sweat through everything. It is very comfortable walking around the parks.

I went the first week of December and the weather varied drastically from day to day! One day I'd be in shorts and a tank top and the next I'd be in jeans and a sweater! The best thing I did was I brought things I could make different outfits out of, simple sweaters or cardigans, jeans, etc.

We are in the same boat. We will be there the 11th to the 18th. We are thinking a hoody or so will make it for those colder nights, but the general rule is t-shirts and shorts.
