Is it really that popular? They keep expanding and it's now going in front of/part of World of Disney?
I have one a few blocks from my house and just don't see the fascination.

I can assure you, you will not be seeing anyone sitting in the Starbucks at MSUSA with their laptops. That's because there is absolutely no seeting there , it was all removed when they changed the bakery into a Starbucks. I am not a fan of the change, because we lost the seating and the cinnamon buns. If they would have just served Starbucks coffee at the bakery that would have been great. But what they did is turn the Bakery into a Starbucks. Nothing unique about that, but I can not argue that it is popular , especially in the mornings.

Oh, I will be overjoyed to be able to get my standard mocha to fuel me up in the morning. I am not a drinker of "regular" coffee; at home I mostly drink tea. When I do drink it (espresso, actually), I like it frou-frou'd up. Sad but true. I can always get that at SB and it will pretty much be exactly the same everywhere I go.

And this time of year, I love the Cranberry Bliss bars. Yum!

That's what I would have liked - although I think Starbucks is overrated and so unbelievably overpriced - just an incorporation of their coffee into the Disney cafes, without turning original concepts into actual Starbucks 'restaurants'.

Their food isn't to my taste either ... I want to go to WDW to get things I can't get anywhere else, not something that's on every street corner in Canada.

While I agree with this logic, I understand Disney's logic to it. They can charge a high rent cost to Starbucks, and Starbucks will make a Ton a money from Disney. I mean look at how well Starbucks do in Smaller parks such as Kings Dominion, its crazy. Its a business savvy move that appeals to many adults.
I wish they just blended them better.

I must admit that I am Starbuck's addict. I have an intolerance to dairy and Starbucks is the only place that I can get a soy latte......and it is perfect no matter what Starbucks I visit. I was in Disney in September and stopped into the Starbucks on Main Street...ordered my decaf soy latte and it was perfect. I don't have any issues with Starbuck's being in the parks.....as a matter of fact, when I heard that Starbuck's would be in Disney, I was very happy! :cat:

Extremely popular -- both the MK and the EP Starbucks have huge lines all day long, but they are super-efficient and they process so many people an hour I am sure Starbucks people in Seattle are kicking themselves for not having thought of this earlier and Disney Co people are thrilled at the lucrative contract and kickbacks they get from Starbucks....its a win win for both companies AND the park guests. Those of us who actually drink coffee know what swill Disney used to serve....They've also changed their contract WDW-wide for coffee at all other stands, resorts, etc. Its not with Starbucks (unless its some sort of clandestine affiliate) but it is much better than what they used to serve.

The outside of the one on MS is fine but the inside, although quite large, looks stale and boring to me. My hubby and kids were very happy getting their morning/evening coffee and baked goods but I missed the buns. We did have the huge buns from Gaston's but they were no where near the same. Then the Epcot one arrived and now DTD. I really do enjoy a cup of SB but not interested in them at Disney. I will get my Caramel Macchiato but I will not enjoy it, nope na ah.o_O

I enjoy a Vanilla Soy Latte every now and then when I need a pick me up, but rarely do I every need one on vacation! I'm so very disappointed WDW is becoming so overly commercialized and losing the uniqueness that made it so special :(
