Starbucks Trolley Car Cafe on Hollywood Blvd at Disney's Hollywood Studios?

Don't drink coffee but this could be another option for quick breakfast. Something severely lacking at DHS.

I enjoy Starbucks but I'm not choosing it over Starring Rolls. I love sitting out in that shaded patio with my danish and cappuccino watching folks head towards ToT/RRC in the morning. I too hope SB takes "just enough" clientele away from SR so lines die down a bit but remain popular.

I hope that Starring Rolls remains open after Starbucks opens in March of 2015. No need for Disney to rile the fan base in advance but I could see Rolls closing and becoming an annex to the popular restaurant there.

I could see that too but Starring Rolls makes money. If they must lose something, the coffee products can go but please keep the baked goods. Please.

Main Street bakery made money too. Rolls and Starbucks so close and would compete. Time will tell

though I was very disappointed in Main Street last time over the PB cupcake....it was just wasn't the same as when it was not Starbucksfied.

It will be the same as Main Street Bakery. Just a few Disney items, along with the Starbucks pastries and sandwiches. I don't see it impacting Starring Rolls.

Well they're only replacing a lousy shop to build this, so this one is at least a positive change for the park IMO.

Probably not. The building was already themed to a trolley depot so the name was an obvious choice.

Understood. But I just feel with it being close to when you enter in the morning, and on the right side of the street, my opinion is that it will take away business from Starring Rolls and they will eventually close that shop.

I'd love to see a trolley a la DCA but I'm sure the name change is just do to the fact the present building is trolley themed.
