Starbucks locations in HS and AK?

Now that Starbucks will be opening soon in Epcot, where are the locations to be in Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, and when should we see this? Also, is DTD going to see a Starbucks, or does Ghirardelli's have the claim over DTD? Thanks. (sorry if this is answered elsewhere)

Yes there will be a Starbucks at Disney Springs on what is currently the West Side. No word yet on locations in DAK and DHS, but in DHS the two existing coffee shops/bakery look very likely candidates.

The Starring Rolls would see more traffic, but my wife needs her grapefruit cake so she would not want to lose that to Starbucks!

I think Starring Rolls is currently too small. They would probably need to extend it in order to meet the demand of a Starbucks. The Writer's Stop could work, but it's in an out of the way place.

AK lacks a true bakery/coffee shop already. A new build would be a great idea there too.

Disney Springs is supposed to be where Wetzel's and the ice cream joint are.
Studios will go in the the space where the Villain's shop is now.

DAK? No idea. But hope it isn't in one of the two shops as soon as you cross the bridge.

Wow, I'm hoping Starring Roles and/or Writer's Nook will get Starbucks coffee. I really like the Writer's Nook when I need a break while exploring DHS. Its only flaw - the coffee. Eccch!

Does that mean Ghirardelli's will be out of DTD? The Villain's Shop and Candy store makes sense as the current coffee shop/bakeries are too small. For AK, is something in Harambe too far from the entrance area for Starbucks' liking? After all, they did command a prime spot on Main Street...

No the DTD location for Starbucks os the Wetzel Pretzel and Haagen Daz area.

I'd be surprised if Starbucks went in the Villains shop. It seems every other one so far has been a food and beverage location that was converted. If this is true, it would be the first merch place made into Starbucks

Isn't the Villains Shop pretty much a candy store now?

That store never made any sense to me of it being in that park. If the restaurant was there it would make sense...But, it being a separate store no...I doubt they sell anything.

I think you might be confused. The resorts have switched over to serving Joffrey's coffee, but I hardly think Starbucks would serve a competitors coffee in their shops/

I think he has it right. So I'd expect it anywhere on property that serves coffee that is not a Starbucks...not just in the resorts.

We were at Disney's resort in Hilton Head a couple of weeks ago and they had Joffrey's. It tasted light years better than Nescafe, that's for sure! I'm not sure if it has been rolled out to the non-Starbucks locations around WDW yet though.

Completely agree though, the Joffrey's is light years better than that Nescafe stuff. Ugh, I just shiver thinking about the nastiness of it.
