i thought lucas was retiring after this one??? probably just a rumor on end. i hope there are more, but only if lucas does them!

CAN'T WAIT EITHER>.. i hated star wars until i worked star wars weekends at disney, and now i'm obsessed!!!

Even if there will be a 3rd trilogy, it won't be by Lucas. He said so himself... but of course, he can always change his mind.

I just hope General Grievous doesn't get whacked easily...

Geveral Greivous is going to be one SCARY villain. I saw him in action in the clone wars animated series, and he beats the living crap out of ten Jedi. And brutally too.

I can't wait for this movie either! I think the prequals are good ( but flawed like acting and some of the dialogue ) but overall, great story telling and action. The trailer also gave me goose bumps with Anakin marching into the temple, and Yoda fight Palpatine, with him force throwing the senate counsel pods at him. Woah! Looks awesome! But the one scene that really made me go "Whoa....."

Mace Windu: You're under arrest Chancellor!

Palpatine: Are you threatening me master jedi? ( gets out light saber and attacks the jedi.

Forgive me if this info is out there yet, but does anyone know the lineup of Star Wars celebrities who will be present for Star Wars weekends this year?

The only confirmed celebrity I have heard of to date is the actor that played young Boba Fett in Episode 2. That info was his own site and has not been officially announced by Disney so take it with a grain of salt. You can probably expect pretty much the same people as last year.

Rumor is that Lucas is training his protige as we speak, to direct the next trilogy the way he would have made it. but George himself will not be directing them.

you know anything else he's been in?

Other than Return of the Jedi? ;)

Here's his IMDB listing:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001519/

Edit: I'm also reading the novelization of Episode III. I have to say, really good stuff so far. Can't wait to see if Hayden Christiansen's acting is any better than Episode II. The only time he didn't seem wooden in that one, IMO, was when he was going into a rage. But since this one shows Anakin's fall, there should be more opportunity for that here.

Yeah, that's why he's so good at the role. He's the "original." (Though in ESB, originally they had an old woman in the robes for the holo-projection of the Emperor and then voiced over with another actor. When they did the DVD release, they had Ian McDiarmid come back and re-record everything, then just replaced the image and audio with him. One of the changes that was made which I liked on the DVDs. Some of those changes just annoyed me.

Hopefully turning point will be believable (more so than in the novelization)...I kind of got the impression that Anakin chooses to side with Palpatine too quickly...doesn't give it much thought...should be interesting to see how it looks on film...

This is from memory so I might miss a few things. Check out The Force.net they should have a complete list of the DVD changes.
ESB emperor changed to actor used in ROTJ, PM and ATOC.
Vader and emperor dialogue changed in the same scene.

ROTJ: Naboo celebration scene added
Old Anikin changed to young Anikin from ATOC and ROTS
