Star Wars Weekends

Hi. Can someone help me? I have never been to the Star Wars Weekends but understand that actors come each weekend. Are they in costume or just themselves? Is this who we get the "fastpass" autographs for? Can you get fastpass autographs for Darth Vader and the stormtroopers and everyone else or do you just wait in line? How early should you get to the park before opening? Any special information I should know? I tried searching for information on the internet but did not get all the answers I wanted. My husband and son are going and I want to make sure my hubby know what he is doing so my son gets to see and do everything. Thanks for the help.

I can help you out with all that stuff.

The celebrities are not in costume or at least I have never seen or heard of one coming in costume. To get the autograph from the celebrities you will need a fastpass to do so. This fastpass does not really work like a ride fastpass rather it is more like an admission ticket to get in line at the meet and greet. Autographs from the characters (ie storm troopers, Aura Sing etc) are handled the same way as the Disney characters in the park simply get in line and wait your turn.

If you want to get the celebrities autograph you need to get to the park very early, around 1/2 to 1 hour before opening. When you are let into the park head immediately to Star Tours to get your fast passes for your autographs. Every person in your party must be present to get your fastpasses. One person can not go up with 5 tickets and get 5 fastpasses. If you are not staying at a Disney resort avoid the early EMH day which is I believe Saturday.

There are plenty of activities that your son will love. Here is a link to a site with a bunch of information on SWW from past years. With the exception of the SWW version of Millionaire the activities will be pretty much the same.

Have a great time and may the force be with you.

Thanks for all this. We will be doing our first SWW this year as well. Do you know how soon a guest list/schedule will be announced? Or have any other hints? Thanks :D

Edit: Found the guest list on the site you linked. Thanks!
