Star Wars Weekends question

I am sure someone knows the answer to this, and since I couldn't find a complete schedule on Disney's website, I figured this was the place to ask.

Anyway, I am planning a trip and will be at Disney World for one of the Star Wars weekends, but we are thinking about tweaking the schedule to take advantage of mid-week rates for the resort. The Star Wars weekends are all listed as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday...so my question is whether or not the Fridays have the same schedule (autograph sessions, awesome Star Wars parade, etc.) as Saturday and Sunday or is it an abbreviated schedule on Fridays?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Friday will have the same schedule as Saturday and Sunday...Well at least it has in the past but there have been no indications that they are changing things. One thing that can change are the guest appearances. People get sick and schedules can change so those are not written in stone.

Thanks Master Yoda! I was hoping that would be the answer. I drove down for a Saturday Star Wars Weekend and that has been my only experience with it. Being able to do it on a Friday will help with the resort costs, plus if we can't get all the autographs we want we can always go back on Saturday. Can't wait for my trip, and thanks again for the info!

If you want to get autographs plan on getting there way early as the lines for autograph fast passes get insane. The first time Ray Park was there we arrived at 6:30 AM and were only able to get stand by fast passes. In talking to a few of the people that were in the front of that line they began lining up around 3 AM.

Yeah, when we went last year we drove down that Saturday morning just for a quick day trip. The line to get fast passes for autographs were CRAZY!!! We were lucky and got two of the last stand by fast passes (wow, I can't even remember right now who we got the autograph from), and were also lucky enough to get the autograph! How early do they open the parking lots??? We would definitely like to get there earlier than the buses start running if possible to ensure autographs.

From what I remember security was allowing people to park their cars at queue up around 2:30 ish but that is far from official.
