Star Wars Weekends Crowds vs Spring Break Crowds

I'll be going to the World in a couple weeks and am planning on visiting DHS on a Saturday during SWW. I know it will be busy, but I'm wondering how busy it will be compared to the crowds during spring break. I've visited WDW many times over spring break and once over Easter week.

The morning will be EMHs at DHS, and we plan on getting there for rope drop.

Thanks for the help! :)

No comparison. Star Wars Weekends folks will be plentiful but it does not effect ANY of the other parks except DHS -- and there, people aren't swarming to the attractions, they are going to the Star Wars Weekend activities, photo stations, etc. The park will be full but your wait at rides and other attractions will be about the same as any other day. The Star Wars folks (including myself) aren't there for RNRC...though many will ride them -- and TSMM will still be the big cattle-rush first thing in the morning....

Great, thanks! This is what I was hoping to hear.

We too are used to the spring break crowds and had a BLAST at SWW last June. The crowd picked up as the day went on mainly in the Star Tours area. We went there first and avoided it the rest of the day. It was a MAGICAL day for our family. Star Wars characters wandering around DHS...what's not to love!

I avoid Star Wars Weekends and don't really know how crowded that gets, but I don't notice it making the rest of WDW more crowded.

Not much help, but there is my limited impression. :)

Have fun!!

Thanks everyone, but I feel really stupid now. I didn't realize that SWW end the day we arrive, so we won't be hitting DHS on one of those days anyway! Learned that just a bit ago! :p

Sorry for the troubles if there were any! And thanks again! :D
