Star Wars Weekends begins

I was at the Disney studios this AM for the beginning of Star Wars Weekends. For those of you there last year, it was a little different. The Fastpass machines for an autograph are now the ones outside of Star Tours. This made it very confusing for folks trying to get to the gift shop for merchandise. It was very chaotic and unorganized. I was there at 9:00 AM and waited in line for 3 hours to get to the gift shop! Waiting most of the time in the sun didn't help either.

How did anyone else do?

I saw the line for getting into the gift shop and decided that I didn't really need some of the LE items that badly. Instead I went over to the small shop between the ABC Studio thing and Sounds Dangerous and bought a hat, a couple of shirts, a couple of the pins, the Gold Commemerative Coin and the LE 500 set of the large pins depicting the logos of all the Star Wars Weekends so far. If there is anything else I really decide I want(Darth Mickey) then I will just shell out the cash on ebay.
