Star Wars Weekends Autograph

Unfortunately, I am not the fan - my husband is. I planned this as a combined our anniversary, Father's Day, & his birthday surprise. Looks like it may fall flat. We are staying, this trip, for the first time at the All Stars. Is there any other option than the bus? How long a walk would it be? And I guess I should ask, is Bulloch the big draw for Saturday?

(please don't flame me for not knowing which star is the biggest for the day. Trek I know. Star Wars, not as much. :o)

Walking is not practical as it is a little over 3 miles. A cab is your only other option is you do not have a car (rental or otherwise). Bulloch is a pretty big draw but I would think that you would have a fair chance if you get there around 6:00-6:30. What I would look at doing is trying to do this on either Friday or Saturday. If your efforts fail, you can do what you need to do to get there earlier on either Saturday or Sunday.

It's Saturday, do-or-die. Flight arrives 8 p.m. Friday and we leave out Sunday morning. I just presumed the buses would get resort guests there before the general public could get in line. It's supposed to be one of the perks for staying on-site.

I guess they are missing a money-making opportunity by not offering a early shuttle for a fee.

That has never been a perk for staying on site. Being allowed in early or the ability to stay late at a particular park (called extra magic hours) is, but the parking lot, for all intents and purposes, never closes. If you have a car you can get into the parking lot at pretty much any hour of the day or night.

In that case, what prevents a non-resort guest who has days left on a park ticket from taking advantage of early entry?
They have to have a valid room key to gain entry to the parks during an early EMH as well as one to get on attractions at a late EMH..

Good to hear everything worked out well. We were probably pulling in just behind you. We attended the first 2 Saturdays and arrived at about 6:45 each day. Things did seem a bit saner this year. I think opening that park between 7:30 and 8:00 really helped avoid that huge mob at the front of the park.

True on Sunday they let us in at 7:30 and I went right to Star Tours and I was right by C3PO when they turned the lights and effects on got to ride 4 times in a row without a wait :sohappy:
