Easter is in March this year. I really don't see why they couldn't at least split the dates between May and June. I wonder if the PnPP dates has anything to do with the SWW schedule?
not sure... huh? easter is early this year. wasnt it early april last year? i really cant recall. but yes, even late april early may would be nice.

May is the best time for the Weekends. All the movies debuted in May! June is too hot and humid, I wish they would at least split them between the two months like they used to, esp since we were planning on going down in late May this year. :(

First time I went to SWW, it was offered at the end of April and early May. But then, I think back then it was only 3 weekends maybe? I want to say my first SWW was in 2001, or possibly the first one in 2000. Actually, I think it was late April early May the first two times I went.

(OK, now I have to hunt down the maps and times guides I saved. What a geek I am.)

The change never made sense to me, anyway. I had always thought that they were done in May in the first place at least partly because it was a good way to drum up business in an off-season time (compared to the summer, when school is out and business doesn't need much drumming up). Events like this are normally hosted on dates that counter-program to regular vacation times. They bring in dollars that would otherwise stay at home.

The reason to pick May over other school-season months is because it is the traditional opening month for Star Wars movies.

So, June just doesn't make any sense. May does.
