nope, its the right series though. The author has also written one of the most known star wars books, the book may not be known but the name is.

Bob "Chewie-killer" Salvatore locked in a death grip (of sorts) with the big furry beast himself (the actor Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in the first three films, who stopped by our booth at the Star Wars convention)...very funny!

I think what happened was that he was killed in Vector Prime and laid to rest in Hero's Trial.
