Holy Sith! I just looked at some of those Star Wars MagicBands! They are awesome! I wish I was going around the time of the Star Wars Weekend to get one. That red Darth Vader looks so cool.

Are you looking at last years bands or new ones that are now being revealed?

Depends on what you want. There is a gift shop when you exit Star Tours that has lots of Star Wars related stuff - t-shirts, Jedi robes (I have one), light sabers, toys, pins, hats, etc.

You must definitely plan a vacation during Star Wars weekends. Darth's Mall has floor to ceiling racks of Star Wars related merchandise. When I walked in, I thought I'd died and gone to Star Wars heaven.

They've revealed the NEW bands?! Yippee!!!! Do they make sounds like last year's? And more importantly, will they be sold during all the weekends? Disney announced the bands the week after we went. I was sorely tempted to jump in my car and make that 4.5 hour drive back to WDW....

For Christmas this year, my lovely daughter gave me one of the limited edition special FX Light Sabers - the Luke Skywalker one. So much better than the ones in the gift shops at Disney. And a Yoda and Ewok doll. She's such a nice child. I'm just wondering how I'm going to bring the light saber to SWW this year since the blade doesn't collapse.

Here's a picture of my new toy.

Yeah, I've looked at those...too much $$$ for me. It's bad (but I love it) enough my daughter spent some bucks for the one she gave me... Just trying to figure out where to display it in the house. Over the fireplace, perhaps?
The are well worth the additional cash if you every have it. The build and material quality is miles better than the Masters Replica Sabers.

I have my 2 Parks Savers displayed over my original Revenge of the Jedi one sheet in the living room.:D

Sadly, no pictures or news yet about Magic Bands for this year's SWW. :(

But Disney has announced release of some new MBs this month. Including Belle. Now I can pay my daughter back for my light saber.
