Right on the hour. Once or twice I've opened maybe 2 seconds earlier and it's been fine, once I did it about 5 seconds early and had to restart it again. My app only takes about 5 seconds to load. I think others with >10 seconds per load have been factoring that into when they initiate the open.

I still think it's better to be 5 seconds "late" than too early and needing to restart the whole thing.

My app can take a full fifteen seconds to start. That's the only reason I'm thinking of trying the refresh method.

I'd still stick with the restart. If refresh method fails you and at 8:00:20 you're still not in and then have to restart... that could be disastrous.

I'd just plan on opening at 7:59:55 if I were you. Maybe 7:59:50.

I went with 3 seconds early (From scratch) and achieved sub 20 BGs both times. If your app takes longer though,factor that in. Mine app recently increased its load time out of nowhere so I’m thinking 7 seconds next go around. It seems silly to talk about seconds making a difference but here it really does.
If your refresh fails and you have to reload you may be out of luck.

Make sure you have the latest updated APP available. I was there today (2-11-20) and did not. I thought I did because I was booking same day FP+, lunch and dinner ADRs. But at 8am...nothing. luckily a very nice Guest Service CM helped me out, saw that I entered the park at 7:02 (arrived at @6:15) and placed me in BG 50. All BG were gone in seconds. They were boarding at @16-18 per hour. Got called @11:30. The queue did not stop moving which FP is going to kill.

I have to say, this IMO is the best attraction I have ever been on. Videos I have seen do not do it justice as there is far too much going on for one person to capture with one camera. Truly amazing!!!

My app is also not consistent with load times, which I’m sure is due to my photo passes and multiple hotel reservations (I know first world problems) so I can’t.

I guess I got lucky. I was group 50 and all morning was a 16-18 groups per hour. Got called at 11:30.

I’m curious, does your app auto-update? Turns out they released a new (iOS) version last Monday( so a day after I rode last), corresponds to the delays I’ve been seeing

Even with the delays I’m #teamfreshstart. i don’t have the rides that some have but it worked twice at least

It’s the same exact thing as Team Fresh except loading the app 2-3 minutes ahead of time.

And make no mistake, I was “fresh” (as summer a breeze) until the last 3 park visits. Until @Demarke does me dirty, I’m all aboard his
