Star Wars Land/DHS Questions

I live in Florida and travel to the parks quite frequently, so when I hear news of updates of the parks, I get very excited. Now with the talks of expansions to DHS with Star Wars Land and Pixar Land, I am confused as to where this will fit into the parks. As you are driving into WDW, you can see that DHS is right next to the road with no room for expansion. I understand that the back of the park could be remodeled for Pixar but what about Star Wars? Right behind Star Tours is the parking lot I believe? Where does DHS have room for this expansion? Please correct me if I am wrong because I am very curious. Thanks!

Expectation is that the whole of Echo Lake, the area around and including Indiana Jones, existing Star Tours, Streets of America, and into the parking lot behind Indy could all be used for any new land. Pixar expansion would be expected to get next to Toy Story, and into the Lights Motors Action and Tram Tour area.

There's always a possibility of garaging the parking lot, thus opening up the Television lot.

Didnt they also just buy more land so they could free up conservation land (potentially) the land around DHS...there is a ton of land behind Star Tours now behind the Cast member parking lot...they could just put more Star Wars there and move the Cast Parking Lot to where the conservation area sits currently after that lard land purchase...DHS isnt completely surrounded by roads (Studio dr doesnt count it could be rerouted to the new parking lot)

Whatever happened to plans to redirect the access road for the parking lot? I thought that might free up some space south of the current park.
