Lucasfilm didn’t make this. Walt Disney imagineering did.
Actually, I believe that most Nightime Spectaculars are not created by Imagineering. They are mostly created by Walt Disney Entertainment. Can anybody clarify who made this one?

It's Disney Live Entertainment, which is a division of WDI. OK here is the big political question: Was this show made by Disney Live Entertainment,..."without",...Lucasfilm's blessing? Was this a rogue project that was given a green light from "outside" Lucasfilm? It's Disney Live Entertainment, which is a division of WDI. I went opening night and went to the second showing and found plenty of room near the Falcon 15 minutes before the start. They make you go a long way around down the ramp next to Docking bay so maybe people kinda gave up thinking it was already closed to capacity the patio area was full next to Docking bay.It does look really cool. Ive seen little clips here and there but trying to avoid spoilers. Although not sure I'll ever get around to seeing it in person. At least for a while. First showing is at 8:30pm, people camp out early and apparently there are not many good viewing spots. Not sure it's worth the hassle with the kids. Cant see myself devoting 2+ hours for this ten minute show. In other words, I may as well go ahead and just watch the whole video. hahah

As for the show I felt it was good and looked great visually but not sure its a must see to repeat everytime I am there kinda show. Knowing they could add pyro makes it feel little bit lacking and wanted a little more excitement. I was standing next to one of the techs with a laptop out and he discussed with management after the show about tweaks they are making as the show progresses. He was standing pretty much in the middle of the viewing area next to falcon so that tells me that might be the sweet spot to stand.
I don't believe one word of this.A show like this is VERY much NOT what Kathleen Kennedy want's to see. It's been said that John Favereau had to HIDE his Luke Skywalker episode from almost the entire crew....including almost all the post production engineers. Reports say that Kennedy was furious when she found out because it was done without her knowledge and purposefully hidden from her.
Specifically Benjamin Schrader, an incredible performer who also had major hand in the Doctor Strange magic show as well as some stuff for the cruise lines.Lucasfilm didn’t make this. Walt Disney imagineering did.

I have to assume that LFL was involved in some way even if just for consulting, as its the case when Studios content is used in the parks for them to at least consult on the project. Was this show made by Disney Live Entertainment,..."without",...Lucasfilm's blessing? Was this a rogue project that was given a green light from "outside" Lucasfilm?

They aren't reports. They are made up hate-mongering lies. Not saying this is "fact". I'm only saying these are reports about what happened.
So are you are saying that you have "factual" knowledge that these reports are 100% wrong? If so, I would love to know what it is that you know. They aren't reports. They are made up hate-mongering lies.
You know about all the websites and vlogs that "report" that based on insider information that Kathleen Kennedy is about to be fired, don't you? These same insider reports that have been perpetuated for a decade?
That a series director would or could hide the hiring of Mark Hamill from the studio's boss is pretty ridiculous.
But the hallmark of these so-called reports has always been how utterly fantastical and unmoored from any sort of reasonableness they are.
They gain traction amongst haters because they reinforce their emotion. Brain not engaged at all.
It's up to those who "report" that such a thing happened to provide proof of an outrageously unlikely scenario. So are you are saying that you have "factual" knowledge that these reports are 100% wrong? If so, I would love to know what it is that you know.
Or,...do you just not believe it because it sounds too bad to be true,...and that is good enough for you?
Is is possible? Yes,...absolutely. it's QUITE "possible". Is it actually "probable"?
I admittedly don't know and I'm not as sure as you seem to be for some reason.
It's up to those who "report" that such a thing happened to provide proof of an outrageously unlikely scenario.
Echoing such unfounded reports is not sharing a rumor, it's gossipping. Gossipping fueled by an echo chamber of unreasonable hate.
If people don't like KK's decisions, fine... don't like them.
Making stuff up and sharing it is childish.
Why would anyone believe that the head of the studio didn’t know that the main character of the original trilogy was in one of their projects?Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence
I don't personally believe those reports but calling other posters childish bc you disagree is.....
The disagreement is not about opinions. If someone has a difference of opinion with me, I don't say their opinion is childish. I like chocolate, you hate it. Nothing childish about that.Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence

"Unlikely"??.....OK that's possible. It's up to those who "report" that such a thing happened to provide proof of an outrageously unlikely scenario.

It absolutely is that bad. Maybe not on this site but it is on others."Unlikely"??.....OK that's possible.
"Outrageous"??...no, this is Hollywood politics. Far,....FAR stranger things have happened in this company and in this town than little stuff like this.
"Unreasonable hate"....Holy smoke dude,....it ain't THAT damn bad. Take a deep breath, buddy. Everything is going to be OK. Easy there.....wow.
Are you close friends or related to KK in any way?
Why would anyone believe that the head of the studio didn’t know that the main character of the original trilogy was in one of their projects?

But this isn't a different of opinion. It's a difference of establishing fact.
If someone is of the opinion that a celebrity they hate is a Satanist simply because someone on the internet says so without proof, that's not really an opinion, now, is it? It's about gullibility because of 'feelings.' And repeating that 'report' and spreading it around is not an opinion. It's about wanting to hurt someone they're angry at.
A vengeful attack on a person's character based on nothing reliable is not an opinion.
