Camp Crystal Lake wouldn’t be a maze without actors. It’ll be creepy in any case. So your point? Universal has plenty of sets where you guess the movie production. That’s quite fun and educational.

 A maze doesn't require actors. Creepy to walk through, sure. But would it be something which would occupy several hours of your day? Nope. Setting does not have a 1:1 correlation with how much people will enjoy a theme park experience. Rides, Entertainment, and Interaction drive enjoyment much more than setting.

What I bolded is clearly false. What you just quoted is exactly what I stand by.

Part of the magic of Star Wars is the universe and its environment. The main storyline is only a blip in the universe. If Star Wars was only a handful of characters then it would be a shallow series. I have my own complaints about the movies but they are irrelevant.

The magic of a theme park is the environment. Some parks fail to do this yet others execute it flawlessly. The Star Wars environment lends itself perfectly to a theme park.

The original Star Wars were great because they were just fairy tales. Expanding the world was a big mistake.
My personal favorite Star Wars movie is Rogue One, it is far from perfect but a solid film nonetheless. I felt for 7 simply laid the grown-work, but then when he was removed from directing 8 that setup was entirely wasted. We will have to let history decide the fate of 9. I disagree with the notion of it being a fairy tale and expanding the world is a mistake.

Rogue One’s garbage. Not only is it the worst Disney Star Wars film, it’s the worst Star Wars film of all time.

Yes
You can argue about execution, but the place is clearly a Star Wars one, with all the recognizable fully sized ships. A bunch of recognizable Star Wars details, the ,albeit few , recognizable characters walking around, etc.

Yeah, but it doesn’t have the Star Wars theme every five minutes. We really need that. Also the ramp. And Vader. X-Wing coaster. Basically Season of the Force in TL.
