I see BB-8 is in place atop Poe's X-Wing. No sign of any Banthas yet- I want at least one beast of burden in this land.

by Michael Ramirez, Editorial Content Director, Disneyland Resort
If you are planning to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort between May 31 and June 23, 2019, a reservation and theme park admission are required. There is no additional cost to make a reservation, but reservations are subject to availability.
Here’s how to make a reservation:
  • Beginning today, May 2, at 10 a.m. PT, visit the Disneyland reservation page.
  • You will need to be logged into your Disney Account and have the names of everyone who will be part of your Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation (up to six guests total per reservation).
  • All guests will be required to have valid theme park admission in addition to their Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation information and valid government issued photo ID. The guest who made the reservation (even if under 18 years old) and all guests aged 18 and over on the reservation will need to bring a government issued photo ID upon check in for your Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation. Guests under the age of 3 do not need a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation. Only guests listed on the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation with proper ID will be admitted.
  • Once you make your Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge reservation, no changes or modifications will be allowed. Reservations are void if transferred or sold. Unused reservations will be forfeited and not replaced.
Guests staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel between May 31 and June 23, 2019 do not need to sign up for a reservation as they will receive a designated reservation to access Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during their stay (one reservation per registered guest; valid theme park admission required). Beginning June 24, 2019, reservations will not be required for visits to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and access to Disneyland park, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and experiences will be subject to capacity.

It says six people per reservation. Each guest is limited to one reservation.
It says six people per reservation. Each guest is limited to one reservation.

Can someone help me interpret this?

Important Information About Adding Additional Guests
  • You may add up to 5 additional Guests.
  • Each Guest 3 years of age or older will need a reservation.
  • Each Guest is limited to one reservation.
  • You will not be able to modify Guest names or the reservation date and time.
  • You will not be able to add new Guests.
  • Each adult Guest (age 18 or over) must provide a valid government-issued photo ID to access the land.
... so you can add up to 5 additional guests but you cannot add new guests. Does this mean you can add 5 additional guests on the INITIAL reservation, but NOT modify? This is worded very oddly...

Also- One Reservation? One Reservation between May 31 and late June? I already have two- from booking two separate hotel nights. Will this be policed through the Disneyland account?

You can call him a hack all you want but he created the universe if not for him this new land you are dying to visit would not exist. And no star wars movie under that hack ever bombed like solo did under disney. That is a fact.

George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are huge fans of Disney films. While Steven is unashamed about it, referencing Disney mutliple times in his films, Lucas was a bit two-faced. He lamented to Brian De Palma that Star Wars was a damn Disney film. You know, sucking up to his "it" crowd of Coppola, Scorsese, De Palma, even lowly Steven...this is a kids film, I'm so capable of so much more.

No, dude, that's who you are. Why hide it?

Lucas had nothing to apologize for. I really don't get that guy. Walt loved his films, was proud of (almost) all of them. The subtext of Lucas' comments are that they're a burden on him. Steven has his insecurities, but he goes out to slay the dragon. That's what makes him Steven. Lucas acts as if his art was gum on his shoe, so he stays inside to avoid stepping on gum.
