Not that this is a bold prediction but I think Star Tours will stick around until whenever they close TL for its huge renovation. I believe a couple insiders have mentioned it ll stick around for 2-3 years after SWL opens. Unless that's the timeframe for TLs renovation, I doubt that's true. I think Star Tours will be a good alternative for the overflow of people who can't get into SWL or deal with the crazy lines. Not to mention it would be odd for them to close an attraction thats so easy to update whenever a new movie comes out. SYNERGY! But I guess the falcon ride may be just as easy to update.

Remember how the WDI pavilion at D23 2015 was all SDL? It'll be all SWL this time.

It could be "Planet Name - The Star Wars Experience." Star Wars Experience (especially by itself) is a pretty lame name.
I'm certain this will be it. They went on and on about this being a new place. One we've never seen, they've got to throw the name of the planet in there.

What would be cool, is if a future Star Wars movie visits the same planet.

I actually wouldn't mind having Star Wars Land as the official name, but of course that wouldn't be on theme, even though they have to have the name "Star Wars" in there somewhere. It won't roll off the tongue like Fantasyland or New Orleans Square but everyone is gonna just call it 'Star Wars' anyways.

Also, they did say it would have larger universe implications (it has a history and place on the official map). Though I'm assuming that means a book or comic; maybe an appearance on a TV show or video game, but likely not the film's.

During the Celebration Panel, the head imagineer kept hinting that it was a place where people who didn't want to be found went, and that there were some "familiar" people there. Given the presence of the Millennium Falcon, it would seem fairly obvious that this port may figure very heavily in the Han Solo stand-alone movie that comes out in May 2018. The timing would be right to give the general public a good immersion in the land before it opens at Disney in 2019.

They actually explained during the panel that they didn't want to feature a land from the movies and they don't want guests to simply feel like they are visiting a movie set best of. They want this to be its own place, so guests aren't simply reliving the movie or scenes, but instead are on their own adventure within the universe.

Meaning I don't think it will appear on film, though probably will make its way into novelization.

How about Star Wars Universe?

But we'll end up with...

Star Wars:Hyperspace Blast!

I guarantee we will wind up with some combination of...

X: Planet Name
or
Planet name: X

X being - (A) Star Wars Experience, The Universe of Star Wars, Star Wars Universe, A Star Wars Saga etc.

Inevitably people will call it Star Wars Land, the more informed will call it Planet Name and the hardcore forum posters will create an acronym.
