I just read on twitter that Star Wars Land opening date is November 11th 2019. Not sure how "official" this is, but I saw it here.

Disney have said “late fall”. That isn’t speculation.

Yep. Official word from Disney is late Fall 2019 for WDW, and Summer 2019 for Disneyland.

Ooh, missed the Summer for DL. That rules out a May 4th opening then?

Must have missed Disney setting a time. Since middle to fall of last year I have been hearing rumors of late fall 2019.

How far in advance does Disney typically give a hard date for an attraction/event/land opening? I suppose it may depend on the scope of the thing being opened (and the possible schedule slippages that might result). I guess the most recent openings of similar scale would be Toy Story Land and Avatar. Anyone recall, offhand, how far in advance Disney announced their opening dates?

Pandora was made official 3 1/2 months ahead of time. Early Feb for a late May opening.
TSL's opening was announced on Feb 16th, it opened June 30th.

I have to say that the Nov 11, 2019 date caught my eye, as that will be the first day at the parks for us during our next WDW trip, but, even though I really want to see SW:GE, I don’t want to be included in the initial crush of people. If it is opening in early-mid Dec, is there any chance of soft openings a month earlier?
