Actually, it's a "mistake ship"It is a spaceship. Not a cruise ship.

This would mean more characters/staff (who would have to account for who was on which trip length's storylines and then the storylines within that trip) and guests wouldn't understand why they wouldn't be able to participate in the longer storylines and weren't allowed in certain groups.Or offer 2 day and three day with different storylines. Keep three day at current cost. Cut $250 off 2 day
Many people defending this thing have stated many times 'It's not a hotel, it's a cruise ship! Think of it like a cruise ship!" To try to defend it. Well...this cruise ship just got blown out of the water! G-5! Awww man! You sunk my Galactic Starcruiser!!!It is a spaceship. Not a cruise ship.
A Taco Bell?If I had to place a bet, I think within the next 5 years this does transform into something that can be universally considered a success.
Line dancing in Star Wars is executing the concept 'perfectly fine' to you???? Ok....I think the issue is more of the concept, less price & execution.
They executed the concept perfectly fine... but how many people are there that are actually interested in a fully interactive Star Wars adventure for 48 hours? I like themed entertainment, but not that much.
How embarrassingOof….
Disney World’s struggling $5,000 Star Wars hotel cuts fall dates for midweek ‘voyages’

No, I mean run one Monday-thursday and one Friday to Sunday. Different stories. This would mean more characters/staff (who would have to account for who was on which trip length's storylines and then the storylines within that trip) and guests wouldn't understand why they wouldn't be able to participate in the longer storylines and weren't allowed in certain groups.
It was confusing enough for some people with only two days.
The problem is that the rooms as rooms are not so great. The star windows are a neat concept but not fun if you're a fan of natural light and the bunks are really only suitable for kids for a short period of time (no sheets, thin mattresses). It's not what most people think of when they think Star Wars property, where you get cool stuff on the walls and some Star Wars-style furniture but still get a window and two sinks. And like everyone and their mother has said, there's no pool. It might work at a very low price, but does Disney really want to bother with that?Just cut all the extras like the 'line dancing' and make it a hotel with it's own private entrance to GE with guests getting an extra hour in DHS (GE and TSL) in the morning.

Absolutely a thought. Run it as an actual niche hotel (charge by the cabin not the guest) with an exclusive private entrance / exit to GE, make the character dining experience available (for a fee) to all HS visitors, keep the light saber training and bridge experience exclusive for registered guests, add the jedi academy experience for the littles and register / stay as long as you want or as little as you want. Its worth a thought.Just cut all the extras like the 'line dancing' and make it a hotel with it's own private entrance to GE with guests getting an extra hour in DHS (GE and TSL) in the morning.
Now that is something I would be interested in. I don't need to sleep in a SW themed bed. But would happily pay a half day type excursion experienceIt's inevitable that Disney will at some point try selling "tours" (3 hour tours? Make sure the pilot is not named "Skipper") from Batuu over for a meal and an interactive activity.
When they do I expect the price per person to exceed $200
That building is nowhere close enough to DHS to accommodate / necessitate rehabbing it to a ride. The building is one grey box with some expensive video game/light saber effectsThere is talk / discussion going around about a "Mandalorian Razor Crest ride". The star cruiser building could be refurbed / modified / redone to accommodate such a ride. It would be a popular, continuous and long-term fun addition to GE.
I don't think you could get the actors and other labor together to run this for three days straight. It must be exhausting for everyone involved. Plus the guests would probably either get bored or overinvested--"this Twilek is real and she's my friend!" You don't see a lot of professional immersive experiences that run longer than a night and that's for a reason IMO.
It'd seem like that would certainly be possible. I imagine it is an option on the table for them. No, I mean run one Monday-thursday and one Friday to Sunday. Different stories.
this is something i could see happening as well. I dont wanna sleep there just see the stuff. a couple hundred per person....i could swing thatNow that is something I would be interested in. I don't need to sleep in a SW themed bed. But would happily pay a half day type excursion experience
