I've been eyeballing this event for quite some time now.

So I race stair climbing in my Sandtrooper armour with the 501st Legion. I can hike and run up 50 floors with the armour in 8 minutes. I have ran the local Children's Hospital 5K charity run in armour, and 15K with no armour. I also go trail running locally here in the mountains.
My understanding is racers are not allowed to wear full authentic costumes, but they are allowed to wear a Star Wars-esque or Star Wars like attire.
I know running long distance is a bit different than acceding hills and stairs for a short period of time. I'm hoping I will be in top performance to do the half marathon and 10K run one of these days.
What's it like to do the Star Wars Run?
What makes the run unique and different from other race events ?
Do you actually get time to explore and enjoy the parks after the race ?
Yes, this is me racing up 48 floors in Vancouver, BC
