Star Wars Attractions Coming To Tomorrowland!

FYI - it's not BS. While the final plan hasn't been chosen yet, what MiceAge described is VERY close to what I've been told from people who know. I know you have no reason to believe me, so take it for what you will. Only some minor details differed between what I was told and what MiceAge posted, so for better or worse, this is what we're dealing with.

The Endor speeder coaster is going to be massive, but I still don't think it will stack up next to Harry Potter at USH.

Now, if DL was building a Kuka-based Iron Man E-Ticket? All bets would be off. Sadly, that's a ship that's sailed.

When I said "BS", I meant BS, as in they shouldn't be turning Tomorrowland into Star Wars, though I am skeptical about some of the stuff they said. Some of it is believable and some of it isn't.

The Iron Man attraction is what I was really looking forward to, and it's not happening.

I'm with you. None of it tickles my whiskers, but it's still way more exciting than Monstropolis. I fall asleep just thinking about it.

I actually don't know what bothers me more. Multiple Star Wars attractions in Tomorrowland or Monstropolis in DCA. They both sound so disappointing.

Still waiting on announcements. If, or when we get those, I'll save final judgement after experience.

Cantina location (I heard Pizza Port, not TLT) and I wasn't told anything about the Millennium Falcon meet-n-greet location. Captain EO's replacement is still totally undecided, but will be Star Wars related. Other than that, same info as what I was told. I posted a little bit in the Spirited thread the night before MiceAge posted, and didn't want to compromise my source by posting everything I was told - then MiceAge posted it all the next day, so it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Gotcha, thanks. Well, Pizza Port probably has the worst food in DL, so I'm all for a changeup there. TLT has decent hot dogs, but that's about it. Their breakfast menu changed for the worse in the last couple years as well. The Millenium Falcon thing sounds good, but it's kinda unnecessary I think.

I should also note that my source let me know the plan has been changing weekly. This is far from set in stone until the higher-ups decide they're ready to make the announcement.

While I agree that Pizza Port doesn't have the best food, at all, I have to admit I enjoy the chicken fusili there. So good.

Never tried it. Their "pizza" is worse than the cheapest frozen pizza you can buy in any grocery store though. I know kids could care less what their pizza tastes like, but DL clearly set the bar as low as possible on quality in PP.

BTW, we were able to use the online reservation system to book Blue Bayou for our trip later this month. The online interface was seamless and easy to use, so +1 points to them for coming into the 21st century. However, Disney, in all their business profit genius (I'm serious about that term) has put together one heck of a cancellation fee if you cancel on the same day of your reservation ($10/person). So, if we have any emergency or something in the park and have to cancel same day, it'll be $40 (4 person reservation, obviously).

That's inticement to check out of the emergency room in order make your reservation on time!

I don't think the pizza is THAT bad. Then again, I've only had it once and don't have a desire to eat any again.

I'd put in on par with the cheapest 'Red Baron' in the frozen food aisle. Hardly worth the money when there are better places around the park to eat for the same price. But, I guess if you get a hankerin' for a piece of cardboard with a little chef boyardee 'pizza in a box' pizza sauce, then more power to ya! lol

My wife's cousin is a 25 year old girl trapped with an 8 year old's idea of what good food is, so we usually have to stop there for her to get pizza because that's the only thing she'll eat. She's completely devoid of good taste to even try something else. It's pizza or chicken fingers for her. And she wonders why she's 30 lbs overweight. Ha ('Merica!)

I hear you. It's definitely WAY overpriced, given its taste, which is why I haven't bought it again.

There's more to life than eating just chicken tenders and pizza all the time.

By far the best new pizza/pasta place is the Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta. Their flatbread pizzas and pasta bowls have some of the best flavors around.
