Not my fav character by any stretch.....

It is a good thing that we don't agree on every single thing though - would make for a very dull discussion forum! :animwink:

Hey everyone,

I don't think that either Disney or Lucas are opposed to changing Star Tours from it's present format to something more up to date. Star Tours could be a huge success for both parties if done correctly. I think at the moment though both parties are waiting on Lucas. He's in the middle of the fourth Indiana Jones Movie (at least from what the LA Times is reporting) and again Star Wars. Just like when the original Star Tours was created, I'm sure Lucas wants to be hands on with the new one, but it's just not possible with being hands on already with two feature movies.

I think that IJ4 is coming after Episode III in GL's diary.

That could take it well into 2007/8 as Episode III isn't out until 2005.

I agree ST needs a rehab, but please keep the robot theme. I would hate it if they turned it into a jar jar binks homeland tour. I love seeing the robots in line!:p

And speaking of the Queue, I think I enjoy the Queue more than the ride!

I'd love to see a new "something" for Star Tours, but I'll bet that I won't.....

Actually, Star Tours in DL opened in 1987, while the one at MGM opened in '89. I have the SOP Training manual for the DL version...pretty neat stuff...I'll have to dig it up eventually...
