and to the random earlier post,.. yes, i would love to have an avery-TYPE player on my team, but NEVER avery.

Disney doesn't carry versus at the hotels, so it's either espn club, all star, or off property for the versus games.

All games are being broadcast on CBC, which I believe that Disney resorts do carry. Plus, the games are being broadcast late enough (8-8:30pm) that you wouldn't be missing that much time in the parks.

From here on out, they're all on NBC, so they should be even easier to find. You'll definitely be able to see them in your room. I'd watch CBC over NBC though, if they carry it in the hotels. CBC and Don Cherry have been my salvation the last few months since I no longer have cable, and can't afford to go out to bars to watch every Versus game.

Hi, this is my first post, so im not totally sure if this is the right way to go about entering the system but i have a question...

I will be in Disney at Pop Century from June 1st - 6th. I am from Pittsburgh and a huge Penguins hockey fan, but i'm an even bigger Disney world fan! Is there anywhere IN THE PARKS that I can watch the game and not lose any time in the park? I want to watch the game in the park so that I can go right into magic hours without wasting time traveling.

is this possible? any and all feedback is appreciated! thanks in advance!

:wave:and nice to meet all of you!

The odds of seeing the Stanley Cup at Disney are far greater than seeing it in Pittsburg anytime soon.... :D Best place to watch it on property is at the ESPN Club. Get early if you want a good seat. And thankfully, you'll have beer right there as Crosby forgets that you get points for scoring, not diving..... :ROFLOL:

However, Lord Stanley's Cup was at DTD a few years back when Tampa Bay snuck past Philly enroute to winning the cup over Calgary after a blown call on a GWG lead to them getting a game 7. I got pictures of me with the cup.

The way the Pens are playing, the series may be over before you get to WDW.

Yeah, for it to be in Pittsburg (OH) would be a stretch, as Pittsburg, OH does not have an NHL team. However, the town where the Penguins play, P-I-T-T-S-B-U-R-G-H (note the H) PA:fork:, has already been graced by Lord Stanley's presence. The cup is in town right now and has been on display at the local news station's studios.

Pens in 6!!!:sohappy:
