Stand-by wait times

What type of impact has FP+ had on stand-by wait times, if any?

In theory there should be less people in the FP line at any given time, making stand-by lines move quicker, right?

Just before Thanksgiving the FP+ queue was out past One Mans Dream. Stand-by was 2.5 hours.

Now that all the paper fastpasses will be gone by Wednesday, we'll be able to see how this all will shake out.
DHS on MLK Day might be interesting.

I've found so far that lines are longer but they move quicker making the wait times about the same especially at rides like PoC because now they are only using one half of the queue really for standby at least that's what I've found so far may be wrong though

Interesting. I'd also be curious to know how many people are using FP+ now versus regular FP a year ago.

I assume you're talking about TSMM, that's just nuts.

Yes. My post made sense in my own head! lol And indeed it was beyond nuts, angry people. Toy was sold out of FP+ a week before and it didn't come up as an option that whole week. Paper FPs gone within the first few minutes of rope drop, so very few were available obviously, token allotment.

I noticed substantially longer waits at Tower of Terror and PotC last week. However, Space Mountain, which typically sees longer stand-by waits was bearable. TSMM is an outlier for me because it's always insanely crowded.
