Tom Staggs was recently (as in the last couple weeks) sighted at Walt Disney World wearing a Disney name tag and greeting cast members. He was surrounded by other executives. Has anyone seen him lately?

Gonna have to call BS.
Staggs returning to the company would be actual news. Not just talked about by Disney CMs and on Disney boards, but actual headline making news. He was the COO and 'next man up' to run the whole thing. Him stepping back in would need to be announced publically, as well as possibly approved by the board due to his stock holdings in TWDC and the parachute he received when he left.

Didn't he maintain a advisor type role for several months after he officially stepped down? No idea if that was legit or just a way for Disney to pay him any severance package while "spending more time with the family/pursuing other opportunities". It's quasi conceivable that such a role was never fully terminated or he was brought back in some capacity. *shrug* No idea, just speculating.
I hope they told him not to pose for selfies with guests for his vlog.

He did, but that was through the end of FY2016. Meaning it ended Sept 30, 2016. There was no announcement that he was being kept on (which they would definitely have to make) so he's not with TWDC.

I posted in another thread somewhere. I saw him when I was dining at the Fly Fish 3 weeks ago. He was having a meeting in the Abracadbar. He wasn't wearing a name tag. But I did think it was rather odd.

This could likely be something as nebulous as him being in Orlando surround all of the IAPPA events that were going on here a couple of weeks ago. He was a big part of that industry for some time and could very well have been in the area surrounding those events.
Staggs was NOT present at IAAPA. No, this happened a week or two before IAAPA.
Did anyone check to see if he's been photoshopped back into the photo at Pandora?

Hell, you can buy a name tag off a cart on Main Street. And if your name is Tom, you can be him as well. Wait was this on Halloween by any chance? Could that be the most unique costume ever?
