St Jude marathon, half, 5K Memphis Dec 1

Was wondering if any of you Disney runners out there will be in Memphis Dec. 1 weekend for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Marathon, Half and/or 5K?

If so, let me know. St. Jude is a 10-minute walk from my place.

I'm entered into the 5K. Didn't know I was moving to Memphis and by the time I moved the half was closed. I'm running the 5K, and just made it too.

If I had known or had a little more time to plan, Id drive up for this. Maybe next year.

Totally understand Joel. I just knew about the race a few weeks ago since I'm a newbie to the Bluff City. At least I snuck into the 5K that was 98 percent full.

Very nice. I love sneaking into an event, but 99% of the time, I register so early, my race bib is in the double digits instead of the hundreds.

So, I have two 5Ks or so coming up in a 10-day span -- Turkey Trot 4 miler on Nov 22 and then the St Jude Grizz House 5K on Dec 1. Glad I am not driving into downtown since I live downtown. Saturday, Dec. 1 will be super jammed with runners and spectators all getting their run on or cheering and supporting.

Marathon and half marathon route passes super close to my apartment high-rise.

Thanksgiving Day race time should be around 55 or 60 with a high of 71. St. Jude marathon event day will be cold, in the mid 40s with a high of around 56.

i looked into this since im also in alabama , but by the time i did it was too late!... , but im doing the country music half in april!

That is a good run. Id do it again, but I have some other plans I think the same weekend for another event.
